Our Educational Program

The educational program we offer focuses on the individual needs of the students. We use active learning strategies, project-based methodologies, and a standards-based evaluation system that measures the development of skills and competencies in our students.

Elementary School

The Elementary School consists of grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. 

Values are strengthened and critical thinking is developed through dynamic and creative activities. Our curriculum is based on the Common Core Standards and the Colombian Curriculum Guidelines.

In addition to the basic disciplinary areas, we offer elective subjects in: art, dance and music seeking from a young age, the development of the talents of our students.

School hours:  7:00 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.

Middle School

Middle School is composed of grades 6th, 7th and 8th.

We offer meaningful learning, according to the individual needs of the students and the High School expectations and challenges.

We have a Human Development team that accompanies and supports the growing process of the students and the transition of the families in this stage of development, we strengthen processes of conflict resolution, social skills, care for themselves and for others, fundamental aspects in these ages.

For the 2021-2022 school year we offer training in a third language: French in partnership with the Alliance Française of Santa Marta.

High School

High School is composed of grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.

Its structure is based on the American schools model. The educational program we offer supports our students in their vocational orientation and life project. Strengthens the skills that enable them to face university challenges, nationally and internationally, and to comprehend the problems of the global world.

School Director

Patrick Bauch

Patrick is an American History graduate from Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. He decided to pursue a career in education and worked at a bilingual preschool for students with disabilities while studying at St. John's University in New York to complete his first master's degree with dual degrees in general education and special education. Later, he studied at Stony Brook University where he earned his second master's degree in leadership of educational institutions.

Learning Center

Our Learning Center is made up of a multidisciplinary team of professionals in the areas of special education, speech therapy, nutrition, and occupational therapy, who provide support to all students in an inclusive environment, building on the individual strengths of each to help them reach their full potential.

Our Learning Center provides the following services to students:

Early Intervention Program (PIT)

We work with children from K4 to first grade and create spaces to detect and prevent learning difficulties, as well as reinforce language skills.

Pull-Out Program

This is offered in grades K4 through tenth and its main function is to design a curriculum to reinforce, level, and academically strengthen students in need.

Support Within the Classroom

A strategy in which one of the professionals from the Learning Center enters the classroom to support those who require it individually or in small groups.

Co-Teaching

Co-Teaching is a model that involves teachers working together to plan, teach, and monitor the progress of a heterogeneous group of students, with and without learning difficulties, in the same classroom.

Speech Therapist

The Language and Communication Stimulation Program runs from K1 to K5, which intervenes in the pre-reading and pre-writing areas.From first to fifth grades, speech therapy support is provided for interventions for students who present difficulties at the level of code-literacy.
