Our students from Kindergarten (5 years of age) enter a process of English language immersion with native English speaking group leaders. Our high school graduates graduate with a much higher level of English, both oral and written. International tests confirm this.
The schedule at Bureche School for our students is as follows: Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m., until 12:30 m. (Kinder 1 to Kinder 4) and until 2:45 p.m. (Kinder 5 and First Grade). From Second to Twelfth grade the schedule is from 6:50 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., (normal academic day) or until 4:30 p.m. with extracurricular activities.
On Fridays, Kinder 1 through Kinder 4 begins at 8:00 a.m., until 11:30 a.m. or 12:45 p.m. for Kinder 5 and First Grade; 6:50 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (Second through Twelfth grade). We also have an early bird program before the regular start of the school day: 6:50 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (Kinder 1 to First grade).
The school has a varied extra-curricular programme, consisting of different workshops, which bring our students closer to the arts, sports and complementary disciplines that enrich their education.
We have a transport service for our students, available for each of the school timetables (Kinder, School and extracurricular). The routes are sectorised and have short distances, so that our students do not have to remain on them for long periods of time.
We have a school restaurant, for snacks and lunches, and an interdisciplinary team, made up of a nutritionist, a food engineer and kitchen assistants, who prepare weekly menus based on a balanced diet for our students.
We have a nurse in a space equipped for the attention and care of the students. In addition, medical insurance is available for the care and transport of students in the event that safe transfer to a hospital is required.
We welcome children from the age of one year, or from walking age, at Kinder 1 level. We also have appropriate stimulation programmes, Little Skills, where we welcome children from 6 months onwards.
Learning at Bureche School is based on active learning methodologies, where children learn by doing. We also work on solving global questions and problems, through the project methodology.
